Bank Cells Generally float within a smaller band than other cells, thus a 1 meter probe would in most cases suffice for this application.
2. Tank Flotation Cells
In Tank Cells, a single probe per cell is required
There are various Tank Cells in a flotation circuit, as indicated below, with the commonly used sizes mentioned next to each.
• Primary Rougher Cells - 1.5 – 2 Meter
• Secondary Rougher Cells - 1.5 – 2 Meter
• Cleaner Cells - 1.5 Meter
• Re-Cleaner Cells - 1.5 Meter
• Re-Re Cleaner Cells - 1 – 1.5 Meter
• Scavenger Cells - 1 Meter
